Day 01 | Guwahati – Shillong

Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station and meet our representative. Proceed by road to Shillong and transfer to the hotel. On arrival, complete check-in formalities and relax. The evening is free for leisure and to explore the surroundings at your own pace. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 02 | Shillong City Tour

After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Shillong. Visit Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Shillong Golf Course, State Museum and Don Bosco Museum. Explore the city’s natural beauty, local culture and heritage. Later, return to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 03 | Shillong – Sohra (Cherrapunjee)

After breakfast, drive towards Sohra, popularly known as Cherrapunjee. Enjoy the scenic journey through the hills and explore the region’s waterfalls, gorges and natural attractions. Visit Seven Sisters Falls, Mawsmai Cave and Thangkharang Park. Later, return to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

Day 04 | Cherrapunjee – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shillong

After breakfast, proceed towards Mawlynnong, known for its picturesque village surroundings. Visit the famous Living Root Bridge and Balancing Rock before continuing towards Dawki. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Umngot River and surrounding landscapes. Later, drive back to Shillong and check in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 05 | Shillong – Smit – Shillong

After breakfast, proceed to Smit, the traditional seat of Khasi royalty. Continue to Laitlum Valley and enjoy its spectacular views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Have a picnic lunch amidst the scenic surroundings. Later, visit Sweet Falls, Ever Living Museum and Shillong Peak. End the day with a local archery experience before returning to Shillong. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 06 | Shillong – Mawphlang – Mawsynram – Shillong

After breakfast, proceed to Mawphlang and visit the famous Mawphlang Sacred Forest. Explore its rich natural surroundings before continuing to Mawsynram. Visit Mawjymbuin Cave and Mawlongbna Village, enjoying the scenic landscapes along the way. Later, return to Shillong. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 07 | Shillong – Jaintia Hills – Shillong

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to the Jaintia Hills region. Visit Thadlaskein Lake, Tyrshi Falls, Durga Temple, Nartiang Monolith Park and Ialong Park. Explore the natural and cultural attractions of the region before returning to Shillong in the evening. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 08 | Shillong – Guwahati Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed by road to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey. Bid farewell to Meghalaya with wonderful memories of its hills, waterfalls, caves, villages and cultural experiences.
